It's been awhile since my last entry. I've been doing a lot of work.
We have conducted our Flood Stories 'o8 interview sessions. It was quite a bit of effort to organize participants and obtain sufficient recording equipment. Despite a few bumps in the road, all our interviews were recorded and I have done some quality control on the recordings (eliminating excess noises, etc.) using Audacity.
I have also been scanning, renaming, and reformatting images for the science fiction fanzine collection. This is a lot work! It's the most labor-intensive (as opposed to intellectually-intensive) work I've done so far in my fellowship. My wrist hurts...but I have learned as many shortcuts as I can find in Photoshop.
